Ukraine Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration

A member of the ALDE Party, Olha Stefanishyna is a Ukrainian lawyer and civil servant. In June 2020, she was appointed as the deputy prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration. In the government, Olha Stefanishyna is responsible for Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, as well as coordinating gender equality policy. Since assuming her position, she has initiated the revision of the Association Agreement to facilitate trade between the EU and Ukraine and strengthen cross-border cooperation. Another aspect of Deputy Prime Minister Stefanishyna's portfolio is to ensure comprehensive coordination between the Ukrainian government and NATO, with a focus on enhancing military interoperability between Ukraine and NATO Allies.

With over 13 years of experience in International and European Law, Deputy Prime Minister Stefanishyna has previously worked in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, served as a Director-General in the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, and had a private legal practice. She holds a Master's Degree in International Law and a Diploma in Economics, with studies conducted at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and the Estonian School of Diplomacy. Olha Stefanishyna is widely recognized in professional circles as one of Ukraine's most accomplished "euro-integrators."
