Lubomila Jordanova is the co-founder and CEO of Plan A, a software provider offering an end-to-end platform that uses machine learning and science to enable businesses to reduce their emissions and improve their ESG performance. In building Plan A, Lubomila found that gender equality and diversity still are neglected issues in the tech space. She believes, however, that by building teams that are diverse in terms of culture, race, religion, gender, skills, sexual orientation, and age, the likelihood of business success can be maximised. This is one of the reasons why she is committed to gender equality at Plan A, among other things, by promoting more and more women into leadership positions, offering training for all employees on related topics, and installing a dedicated diversity and inclusion task force to ensure Plan A meets the highest standards.
Lubomila is also co-founder of the Greentech Alliance, a community of more than 2,000 startups connected to more than 500 advisors from VC, media, and business. Prior to Plan A, she worked in investment banking and venture capital as well as the fintech industry in Asia and Europe. She serves as an Obama Leader Europe 2022 and has been recognised as a MIT Innovator Under 35 Europe 2022, Marshall Fund Fellow 2022, Top 50 Women in Tech in Germany 2021 (Handelsblatt) and 30 under 30 (Forbes), among others.
